Our family celebrated one of our best Christmas' to date. Maybe it was because of the girls, and how magical they made it by believing in Santa, and anticipating Jesus' Birthday, and His arrival on Christmas morning. Santa was so sweet to put Jesus in Ashlyn's stocking, and she was thrilled that it was her and not Karis! They both asked for "real hammers", so they both got new tool boxes to take with hem to Home Depot when they go on kids day with Dad to do their special projects. They were complete with hammers, safety goggles, rainbow suspenders, tape measures and hard hats. Karis spent most of her morning measuring everyone and everything. She told me I measured "30 pounds!" I just love that girl!
Eli enjoyed Christmas in other ways. He loved playing with all the stuffed animals, and chewing on all the paper. We even put him in a gift bag, and he thought that was perfect. He is still easy going, and always ready with a smile. Even on Christmas he was still demanding to eat on schedule, and required a nap, imagine that.
Karis proved that it is the little things in life that make you happy! She loved her paper and her 20 rolls of scotch tape...I can't wait to see what kind of mess she creates.
