Our Indian Girl!

Ashlyn's class has been studying the Native American's this month, and they had a Native American powwow before Thanksgiving break. I went to her school to help with her party, and they were all so cute, and very proud of their uniquely painted shirts. We couldn't get Ashlyn to take her shirt off...she literally wore it all day, then slept in it and wore it the next day too. I finally had to insist that we might want to wash it, and then literally had to sneak it into the washing machine!

Little Man!

The time has finally come...Eli is eating with a spoon and loving it! He is not a picky eater either. Most babies are not too crazy about rice cereal because it can be very bland, however, Eli thinks it is awsome. As you can see he likes to be in charge of the spoon! This makes feeding him a bit difficult and extremely messy!

We are definitely going to be in trouble when he is a teenager, if he continues to eat the way he does now! He is now 5 months old and weighs 18 pounds!!! I guess that explains why he can't roll over yet - Big butt...So what!

Candy Crazy!

Trick or Treat this year was all about the candy, candy, candy!!! I started with a huge bowl of candy at the begining of the night in hopes of not having any left and being mostly candy free for a while...However, by nights end I was sighing at the amount of candy I had to find a home for! Karis' pumpkin was so full that Ken was carrying it for her... I vote when you can't carry your own candy anymore then you are done. Now of course the talk around here revolves around candy and when we will consume our next piece or two...Ugh!

They were all very cute, of course. Ashlyn wa sa cheerleader, even though she has no idea what they do. She was adorable, and the costume was wasy! Karis was Piglet. This was fitting for her since she loves everything that has to do with Pooh Bear! Eli was a penguine. Ashlyn picked his out for him and he looked too sweet. I loved the little tail on his bottom best.
